Pi-Scale

As a launching customer in the EU research project Pi-Scale, we have been working on new concepts and solutions for the possible applications of flexible OLEDs in general lighting. Four very different demonstrators were created in the project. „Wing“ a visionary lighting concept for flexible OLEDs. The luminaire can be formed into a ring and can therefore be used for various lighting purposes. „MotorJacket“ the application of flexible OLEDs as stylish safety lighting in motorcycle clothing. „ColorLoop“ a light art object made of monochrome, transparent OLEDs, which makes additive color mixing visible in an experimental way. „LightLoop“ a minimalist luminaire concept consisting of transparent, white OLEDs that are contacted with magnets on two metal rings that can be freely positioned.
